Founded and based in NYC, the trio has quickly established itself as a tour de force in the world of classical crossover music for their captivating performances at weddings, corporate events, and private parties. With their combined talents and musical chemistry, Trio LeGrand continues to enchant audiences with their diverse repertoire and exceptional artistry.
A group of all-star musicians, Hannah LeGrand (Violin), Marc LeGrand (Guitar), and Sarah Overton (Cello), have each individually had the honor of being featured at venues and festivals such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the San Mateo Jazz Festival, the San Francisco Carnaval Salsa Festival, the Hollywood Bowl, and dozens more.

Hannah LeGrand is an actively performing classical violinist and educator, based in New York City. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Violin Performance from the Greatbatch School of Music.
Hannah has worked with a number of reputable teachers and performers from institutions such as the Eastman School of Music, Frost School of Music, Syracuse University, Boston Conservatory, the Juilliard School, Mannes at the New School, and NYU. She has also attended Summer Strings at NYU, Meadowmount School of Music, and the Castleman Quartet Program, during the summers.
Hannah has had the opportunity to perform at venues and festivals like Carnegie Hall, the Kodak Center for Performing Arts, the Music and Gaming Festival, and more. In 2022, she was an artist-in-residence at ArtsDistrict Brooklyn for the Limitless AI installation. She has toured twice with The Sorrow Estate, now GIRLLOVE, as a violinist/vocalist/bassist. Hannah is passionate about chamber music, collaborating in the studio, writing arrangements, composing, improvising, and teaching.
In 2021, Hannah self-published a pedagogical text, “Understanding the Fingerboard: An Anthology of Exercises for the Beginner Violinist.”

Nicaraguan-American Marc Anthony LeGrand is a New York City-based guitarist, composer, theorist, and producer whose work and collaborations blur the lines of composed and improvised music. Early on, Marc was drawn to the abstract expression of instrumental music through his relationships with Patricia Thúmas, Dr. John Calloway, and Jose Chepito Areas. These three mentors guided Marc through his early explorations in the Bebop and Afro-Cuban traditions.
In the years leading up to his relocation to New York City, Marc gave performances at the San Mateo Jazz Festival, San Francisco Carnaval Salsa Festival, Stanford Jazz Festival, Redwood City Summer Concert Series, Delta Jazz Festival, Santa Rosa Salsa & Latin Jazz Festival, San Jose Jazz Festival, Yoshi's SF, San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival, and Stanford Park's Artist Residency Series for which he collectively received awards and recognition for his work as a guitarist, composer, and improviser.Marc now holds a B.M. in Guitar Performance (focuses in Composition and Improvisation) from the Greatbatch School of Music (where he received a performance scholarship to attend). In 2023, Marc became a finalist in the Global Music Awards—an international competition in which he was awarded two medals (in the categories of Instrumentalist and Emerging Artist) for his live performance of his original composition, titled “Gallo Pinto”. Today, he is involved in a variety of performance, composition, and production-based collaborations. Between projects, Marc can be found conducting private lessons from his apartment in the Lower East Side.

Sarah Overton is a dynamic multi-genre cellist living and working in NYC. Sarah has been featured at venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, The Hollywood Bowl, Atlanta Symphony Hall, the Pantages Theater, and international stages in London, Paris, and Cardiff. She recently completed a national tour as the Principal Cellist with the Broadway Sinfonietta for Sony/Marvel’s “Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse Live in Concert '' series and separately, a tour with the celebrated NYChillharmonic. As an advocate for new music and genre-fusion she recently performed a premiere of Wondersmith Entertainment’s “Passing the Crown” as a part of Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City, and is a frequent collaborator with Sound Off! Music for Bail, Choral Chameleon, NYU’s New Theater on Broadway, internationally renowned Cypriot fusion ensemble Sounds of Cyprus and many more. Sarah is also a versatile electric cellist who has performed on stages at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, and recently made her compositional debut both at Re:Sound Festival in Cleveland, OH and as an Artist in Residence for The Movement Theatre Company.
As an Arts Advocate and fundraiser, Sarah has made a lasting impact on the cultural landscape by prioritizing the creation of urgent and accessible artistic opportunities and experiences for audiences of all ages. In her most recent role as the Director of Project Onboarding at CCS Fundraising, she led feasibility studies to build campaign frameworks for esteemed institutions such as The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Clark Art Institute, the New York Youth Symphony, and the Perez Art Museum Miami. Sarah has been a guest speaker on panels for Columbia University, George Washington University, and MSU Denver on the subjects of “Arts and Civic Engagement”, "User Experience Design for Arts Nonprofit Organizations," and “Expanding the BIPOC Classical Repertoire”. As a freelance arts fundraiser, Sarah has consulted with arts organizations in New York City to secure grants from the New York Foundation for the Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts and more.
Sarah is a graduate of the Stetson University School of Music and the Steinhardt School at New York University.
